Keith Calder is a talented bronze sculptor from Johannesburg, South Africa. With a passion for (and a degree in) Nature Conservation, Keith reached a critical and wonderful turning point in his life when he decided to take his passion for nature and combine it with another great passion of his, sculpting. Both of these significantly strong passions are evident in his sculptures, but what’s most particular and unique about Keith Calder is his incredible ability to sculpt in different styles. One of these styles involves the creation of uber realistic, life-like sculptures, with a particular eye and talent for animals (obviously very much influenced by his passion for nature). The other style, which I find very fascinating, involves contemporary sculptures with a futuristic, almost sci-fi, feel to them.
